Everton mugged off, still a 3rd rate club in the transfer market.
No we do things the right a genuine way, but that doesn't get you what you want you have to be snidey in this day and age and we are just to nice. That's why deadline day doesn't suit us we need to get deals done a lot earlier,

this thread is full of fume. People need to calm down. Time left to get a deal done. We have woken up in the morning to deals being done over night before. Fume in the morning when we know for a fact no one has been signed

Alright lads, come here in peace. Created an account with you lot during the whole Koeman drama, and posed this question on May 5th "A question to you Everton fans, with City, United, Wet Spam, Chelski and you lot all planning on big overhauls of your squads and spending X hundred million, do you think A) there are enough good players out there, for all these big clubs? B) By saying you have 150 million to spend aren't you opening yourselves up to overpaying massively on players, as clubs know you have cash to burn?" Interesting how it panned out for everyone in this transfer market.

Saint's transfers have been underwhelming compared to the departures, but I'm happy with the value we got for Hojberg and Redmond, think they will be tidy acquisitions. Happy with Boufal. Think Williams and Gueye are good buys for you guys, Bolasie is a good player but a bit pricey.

Saints are really struggling under Puel at the moment, I hope it's just down to us learning the new system, but currently we look very poor. Koeman seems to have started well with you guys, and it will be interesting to see how the season goes for both of us. Best of luck for the rest of the season, until we play ofcourse!

I'm not surprised he doesn't wanna play for us. Spurs are ambitious we arnt!

We've done nothing all summer to strengthen so how can you promote an ambition and a exciting project to a player when you've not bothered bringing in top quality

You think they paid £30 million for Someone simply to stop Everton making a signing, get real they thought they could get him on the cheap & couldn't but fair play when required they did what they needed too to get the deal done.

Albeit at circa £10 million more than they wanted

No, i think that they were sensible and left it last minute (knowing that the player would chose spurs all along) to stop everton signing someone else, thus preventing a rival strengthening, experience in the market has shown through and our own naivety has shown through.

Care to provide another explanation as to why they left it so late?
