For those who still pine for Byram. Baines did the same thing with us and Sunderland a few years back. Only difference is Sunderland are crap.

Byram is joining to get first team football (as of next season) and he's a Hammers fan.

Baines wasn't guaranteed a starting spot with us when he signed and he's a Liverpool fan FFS.

Also we are boss and Sunderland are crap.

We had lescott at left back.

Pretty sure we did sign him to be in the team, especially for 6 million at the time.
 
There is a few interested in taking McGeady but not only do we want them to pay his full wage which is not as high as rumoured, we're also looking for a loan fee for him.
 

Baines remained on the bench for weeks and weeks while Lescott played at LB.
because he wasn't just thrown into the team at the expense of keeping the existing line up together for stability.

You are forgetting Moye's love of rotating his first team around all the tme.........
