Irish midfielder Alan Judge has been hugely impressive for Brentford of late.

IRISH MIDFIELDER ALAN Judge scored his 12th goal of the season, as Brentford beat Preston 3-1 to go 10th in the Championship today.
Ex-Blackburn player Judge has been in fine form this season, and scored his 12th goal of the season today, making him fourth top scorer in the league overall.
The Dubliner, who has been affectionately nicknamed ‘The Irish Messi’ by Brentford fans, is also joint-top of the Championship assists chart, according to ESPN’s figures, having created seven goals so far this season.
Judge is reportedly valued at €10 million by Brentford, with the club already rejecting bids from Sheffield Wednesday and Burnley for the player.
A number of Premier League clubs, including Newcastle (see below), are also understood to be interested in the player, who has yet to win a senior Ireland cap but is expected to make his international debut prior to the Euros.
Meanwhile, in less positive news from an Irish perspective, full-back Greg Cunningham scored the own goal to give Brentford the lead.
Ex-Shamrock Rovers and Sligo striker Eoin Doyle also featured for Preston, but was taken off after 62 minutes, while 20-year-old Cork-born midfielder Alan Browne — who has been linked with moves to Crystal Palace and Bournemouth recently — was an unused sub.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the Championship, Richie Towell made Brighton’s bench for the second consecutive game in the league since joining, but didn’t get on ultimately, as Brighton beat Huddersfield 2-1 to go third.
He's 27. If he was good enough he'd already be in the Premiership.
Too old to buy as a gamble, would rather we gave a shot to one of the kids who might actually improve.

lol 10 mil

Just popping in to say to all those blues naming their preferred team we can sell Stones, Barkley or Lukaku to: kindly dip your head in a vat of acid. Thank you.

None of us would ideally sell any of them, but we're not the chairman and are realistic they will be sold some time or another (bar barkley) because that's how football works these days. Imagine the team we could have if we sold them all this summer with a transfer kitty of around £120m

?
Coleman ? Jagielka/Mori Baines
? Besic ?
Deulofeu ?
?

That team is boss!

You know it's a slow news window when the top story on Newsnow is [Publication is blacklisted due to spam] recommending that we go for Chris Gunter at 500k. Time for Elstone to chuck a few Alvaro Negredo style teasers into the mixer. The ensuing week of fruitless anticipation will be decent value

Butland (£20m)

Coleman, Jagielka, Mori, Baines

Besic, Banega (free), Barry

Deulofeu, Lacazette (£25m), Yarmolenko (£20-40m depending on whether he has a good Euros)

Sound team that, if Lukaku/Stones are both sold I'd use alot of the new cash on that team.

i knew someone would do it ha. i have no doubts whatsoever we can find a keeper just as good in europe for a quarter the price of butland.
