I reckon that just papers connecting dots, he is out of favour and was meant to go to Galatasaray but they bought someone else, de Boer wants to buy a striker but the Ajax board have told him he needs to sell a player first. Doubt there's an actual link there, just a journo putting 2+2 together after the Byram thing failed.
"Rhijno,Rhijno,Rhijno"!!!

Although this Colorado connection feels and seems plausible it just cant happend imho. This kind of departure would be too 'ugly' for good servant like him, too hasty. Especially if we get into Wembley he would stay till summer 100%

....apparently Howard has got personal issues and we don't know what is truly going on behind the scenes. The only way I can see a move happening is if the player himself is forcing it. Despite what is said on this site, Howard has been a fine keeper and great servant so the club might be willing to release him if there is off the field issues.

In respect of Wembley, Robles has been playing in the cup.

I would wait till summer to sign a back up right back as Oviedo is fine as back up. Browning will be back then too although he is less of a attacking full back

Yes if he pushes it himself it's possible I quess

Just been watching motd and thinking we must be mental not to have gone for Charlie Austin for £4m!
Another player I think would be great in summer to play with Rom is igahlo, just a natural forward but I doubt he'd be cheap.

If howard is pushing for a move back to the states it's probably because his ex wife lives there with his two kids. He says in the attached article that the manager lets him fly out there when we have international breaks.

Although Colorado is still not all that close to Memphis ( about 1200 miles, a 3 hour plane ride) it's still closer than UK to Memphis. I think most people could understand him wanting to move back there for those reasons.

......Colorado Rapids linked with Howard in this morning's press along with usual Stones rumours. Also, Oxford are close to taking Jonjo Kenny on loan.

One new name for me is Ajax defender Ricardo van Rhijn who the Mirror suggests 'we are weighing up a move for'. Apparently he could be a replacement for Sam Byram.

Also Marco Asensio linked via newsnow.
