Not really, it would only force them to be respectful and amicable, should we show an interest in Remy - it would make no sense for them to be difficult as then we could do the same when Stones is involved in a tug of war.

As for the people saying they would't touch him, I don't understand why. He has scored goals wherever he's been, is technically good, has pace and can play anywhere across the front.

He wants to get in the French squad for the Euros so he would be giving his all for the next few months to try and impress.

I have no issue with the lad coming in as a back up striker, which brings me back to why would he trade Chelseas bench for ours?
