Here's a thought. We sell players who we t to leave in the sunner. Invest a portion of the money and the board make a profit and not make a penny available to the manager other than proceeds from sales.

£100m is difficult to spend, even if we can afford to buy a top drawer player, it's most likely that they won't want to come to us, might have to do a Spurs and buy a load of talented but unproven players and hope they turn out good. It'll be fun though!

Is the correct answer, you simply dont replace outstanding players unless you get really lucky like Spurs, ironically their best 2 players cost them 5m.

But before that, they really struggled to replace Bale, just like the vermin have struggled to replace Sewerz.
