Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Is the correct answer, you simply dont replace outstanding players unless you get really lucky like Spurs, ironically their best 2 players cost them 5m.

But before that, they really struggled to replace Bale, just like the vermin have struggled to replace Sewerz.
So how about then we don't sell.

Because it's crap having players at your club who don't want to be here.

We all know young John threw in a transfer request, but from what we know, he never once stamped his feet or actually pushed for a move, im not suggesting he would do that, but how does say Bill tell John and Rom that its in their best interests to stay at a club that finishes 12th.

If we get £100 million for Rom and Stones I can see us probably spending half, with the other half vanishing as per.

Plus do people trust Martinez to spend that amount of cash? If he gets it wrong we could be in real trouble.

£100m is difficult to spend, even if we can afford to buy a top drawer player, it's most likely that they won't want to come to us, might have to do a Spurs and buy a load of talented but unproven players and hope they turn out good. It'll be fun though!

It's weird to think we could have £100m for Rom and Stones but it still won't be enough to buy 2 players with the equivalent talent.

Very much so. If we're sensible we'll agree to sell, then buy two or three of our main targets beforehand so we don't get absolutely fleeced.

I don't know the answer to that.

If we need a striker there's always Rogelio Funes Mori, Ramiro's twin brother who plays up front for Monterrey. Not sure how good he is but if Ramiro is anything to go by we should certainly have a go!
