the problem with this, apart from reasons of heritage (which aren't insignificant - if he even went a half without scoring, the petulance on here would combust the server) is that he's only really done well with suarez around to occupy defenders (though our attacking would be a considerable upgrade on what he has now), and that as with all internationals, at least 60% of his wage value is down to him continuing to be English. there is always better value abroad.

I'm a Red Bulls season ticket holder and have watched him the last couple of seasons. He's going to be really, really good. I would have loved to see him at the club but maybe this will finally close the door for Chelsea re: Stones
