@hktoffee if he keeps making mistakes then there wont be any bids of £60mil+ which is what he would be worth based on potential and ability.

Clubs wont meet our valuation unless he goes straight into their side so if he keeps making errors he'll still be here i think.

Surely also he will know that and be thankful to get gsmes with us when he would have been benched if he was at a club with more options.

....I think we need organisation rather than additional numbers or changes in personnel.

We dont have enough quality competition to give players a rest in a fee positions or even to keep them on their toes.

Need about 6 players really.

Does he always play up front as on wiki it says he can also play on the wing?

Also i saw somewhere he won a "best player in russia" award last season on a website, not sure if it was like a PFA award or what though...

Anyone who he could be compared to?

at 13.5m mate i would say no chance on earth we should be paying anything like that though, he has basically played well THIS season - up to the current winter break

If i had to make a prediction on him, he's the type of forward that the likes of Hull, Newcastle, Wigan, Sunderland tend to have bought in the past that flop, honest assessment of the lad from me really, never once seen this lad play and for one moment thought 'oh wish he played for us'

....lots of reports in this morning's papers regarding Niasse. Depending on which article you read a deal has either already been agreed or is being negotiated.

Man City apparently lead the race to sign John Stones in the summer with Chelsea's interest cooling. Barcelona and Real Madrid are also monitoring but the player prefers to stay in the Premiership. One rag links us with Thomas Vermaelen.
Cheers Mr. Eggs!

Hope Stones stays to be honest... Also hope we sign players as we're incredibly reliant on a single striker who's more than knackered.

How often have you seen him play

Stones is making mistakes, because of lack of experience and the amount of pressure he is under. He is very young for a central defender. He just needs to play things a little simpler, while he goes through this rough patch. He'll be a better player with this experience. But I agree, no way will he be ours next year.

Think he will be sold for £40m.

....thanks for the insight. At the moment, though, we don't have any proper alternative or support to Lukaku and this fella would appear to give us that. When it comes to goal scorers I do like to look at statistics and this fella has scored goals wherever he's been (although I appreciate at lower grades of football).

Just for the rumoured 13.5m mate i would want someone whose proven a hell of a lot more than this guy has been, he basically replaced N'doye for them and ha performed about the same level and god he proved a huge flop when he moved to Hull, looking at them both i wouldn't say ability wise they were too dissimilar

Seems a lot to be paying for someone ive never heard of and less than a handful of international caps for senegal.

Rather have had Dembele from Fulham for half the price OR sign someone who could come in and be the "new" lukaku like Embolo.

This chap seems a bit average to me...much more interested in the Ecuadorian.

If we sign these two strikers we will have signed three in this window including that lad from Switzerland who we hadn't heard of either. Would this mean we sell Lukaku in the summer I'm thinking. Recoup the pending outlay and make a tidy profit for the board. Wouldn't be surprised.
