Err ... So Stones was the player he is now when Moyes left in 2013?

Of corse he's not the same... But picking a player every week , and that player gaining experience and therefore improving themselves through playing. Is not the same as the manager identifying your weekness and coaching you into a better player is it... Stones has always been immense on the ball... He's getting better at it through practise NOT COACHING... Are you suggesting that his decision making, position sense, heading and General defensive play are improving? Martinez inability, or, his choice, not to hold him and Barkley accountable for their mistakes and the instructions he is giving them... Are not improving them as players...

Can't believe we're actually spending money. Hope this niasse has been proper scouted and isn't a punt on his stats. Can't be bothered with another kone.

Still think we need a back up right back. If we were in for Byram and that didn't come off, I won't be surprised if we got someone in tomorrow

How are you making these assessments? Do you go to training everyday and listen to what he's told? There's enough sticks to beat Martinez with that you shouldn't just have to make stuff up to give it a few more go's.

Did I miss the news of Sky a sources saying we had agreed to loan McGeady to Sheff Wed.?

Just seen it on Twitter from Saturday evening but didn't see it in here.

Remember the days when we got so excited about signing Kevin Mirallas when he was a player practically nobody had watched who was great in a terrible league.

Fast forward to now and the assumption is anyone we buy is crap. Like Mori, what a waster of money. Reserve judgement for a bit lads, I'm glad we're doing business.

Think the default with Everton in recent times is to assume the worst, comes with the territory ;)
