£9m for a player who has only scored at lower levels. I don't know what wages he was looking for at Boro but that's why it fell through.

To be honest, i'd rather not go for a player that Middlesbrough wanted.

I think if he was going to be a Premiere league striker, someone would of taken a put years ago. Blackburn paid £10 million for him. He's been at Blackburn for a few years now. Maybe if he got promoted and did well.
