Even the window in which we signed nobody was better than this.

It's shaping up to be one of the worst deadline days in my recent memory.

We've strengthened the squad already, but a best start in 10 years, 7 from 9, we had a chance to really set our stall out and go for it, 3 more good first team players in would have set us up for a really good season.

Have we strengthened the squad where we needed too though? A striker to challenge Lukaku. A creative midfield player?

We may get away with no more centre backs and stekelenberg & Holgate stepping up but as yet we haven't addressed the key holes in the squad. We have 4 hours to rectify that. Good luck Everton.

Come on mate you can't say the window is good. ( if we're rich ) the players we have brought in are good so far. But it feels like a chance beckoned

As it stands (and I said this yesterday) it's been a solid window. 6/10 all in all.
That doesn't change based on today. The window can really only get better from here, not worse (awaits Lukaku sale)

I never said we were interested mate. I just don't understand how when we might be bringing in Valenica who is crap and always injured when like you said we could have easily had him. Makes no sense.

It could be that our relationship with city leaves something to be desired - hence why we never got anywhere near hart either.
