He bought 100m worth of players at PSV, he sold them for 240m.

You only spend 18m on a backup if you're Man City not Everton and if Digne was potentially leaving and it would be for huge money it would be picked up by a lot of press imo.

It's what needs to be done unfortunately. I fully expect richarlison to be sold next summer (unless we have a amazing season). While ffp is happening we all have to pay the piper.

It's all about how the money is reinvested.
