Or MAYBE it’s starting to look like transfers, especially in the current global climate, take time to complete and we’re not going to repeat the mistake of a few years ago where we sign a load of unsuitable players quickly to appease our fans.

Or MAYBE it’s starting to look like transfers, especially in the current global climate, take time to complete and we’re not going to repeat the mistake of a few years ago where we sign a load of unsuitable players quickly to appease our fans.

Or alternatively players are waiting for the season to end so they know what competitions clubs that are looking at them are in first. Very few transfers anywhere so far and the ones that have are mainly Champions League clubs.
