Worst, typically, was them lashing 160m on Coutinho who then inevitably turned out to be crap for them, and the transfer led to Liverpool having money in the bank to sign Allison and van Dijk which turned them into the best side in the land.

anyway if we are going to spend 100m on a player, Bailey or Dembélé instead of Griezmann.

If we were going to spend £100mil on a player then Id struggle to think of one who would make it worthwhile and who could get us up into the champions league.
