I can dismiss some bit-part player for Atletico.

I’d rather play Kenny than have an ageing player on higher wages who we’ll be wanting to shift next year but won’t be able to because no one will buy him.

We’re now a sell-to-survive club, we need a model of buying young players to then sell on. Buying old hasbeens leaves you like Sunderland.

You just called a 28 year old an ageing player.

Christ.

Take that back please

Another player who’s almost 29. This is not a good business model.

I struggle with this obsession of age concerns...... 28 will give us at least 4 years service at a players peak, if like Baines 8

we have to adjust the model to adapt to the needs on the pitch today. As long as we can buy a broad selection of players, young, promising, experience and quality I have no concerns

the money men of the club know what they are doing, they will have short term / mid term and long term business plans to grow the business

right now we need experience, quality and leadership to develop the young squad and bring success on the pitch quicker imho

I think that’s a HUGE exaggeration.
