Good indicator of potential quality if Moyes is interested, he was a good judge of centre backs.

Don't be too sure

Still 15 odd days to go, in that time, teams will be knocked of cup competitions, towards the bottom of the table so pressure will be on.

We'll get rid of a few by then

Walcott for a small fee around £5 Million will be tempting to someone.

Sigurdsson will 100% get interest from a Fulham.

Bolasie will have suitors in the championship possibly abroad too.

Sandro, Spain.

Besic championship again.

The rest god knows.

sadly the players may refuse to leave given that they are on a cushy number now

the above group of players have zero pride

Need to lose all of Bolasie, Besic, Delph, Tosun, and at least one of Walcott, Bernard or Iwobi.
I think we can afford to do that and only bring in a CB on loan and have a good squad.
In a perfect world we lose a few more and bring in a few more, but i think we have to wait til next summer for that.

....it’s no forgone conclusion players will agree to move on. Some are in their last 12 months and might be eyeing a lucrative Bosman. Also, there will have to be an attractive financial package attached to any deal given their salaries here.

We do need more players in without a doubt.

Once you take the new guys out the team then it is crying out for more players. Lose Coleman and Kenny isn't as good. Lose doucoure and we have no ball carrier, lose Rodriguez and we have no creativity.

We clearly need 2 defenders even as cover brought in. On top of that another attacker who can have an impact off the bench.

We need more but that's just realistic that we cover the defence and swap one of our wingers for a better one.

I’d like to hope some might improve with a bit of competition. Walcott off the bench wanting to get back in the team is potentially still a useful option. Even Tosun if he is back fit. It’s far different than these players knowing they’re going to be in the team every week regardless because we have no one better. Obviously a good offer and a sale would be the best thing but I’m hoping to see some of the fringe players rise their game and contribute now they’ve seen the level of the starters.

Combined cost of 5 mill I think and Ferrari was actually very good. Not bad if that is the rap sheet after 11 years. I’d have at least put Lucas Neill on there.

Then of course you’d have to balance that against Jagielka Lescott Distin Yobo Heitinga Stones

Lucas Neill was fine for us in the limited time he was here. I remember him being much better than I thought he would be.
