I don't think he's high on our need to have list but you don't turn down a player of that quality if he's attainable at the right price.

I'm a bit curious as to why we aren't setting up as a 4-3-1-2. Obviously we would need a big improvement on Coleman to provide the width but, with the players we have, it makes the most sense.

This will probably be an unpopular choice given how Calvert-Lewin has performed but if we did happen to get Perisic in I would prefer to go with a front 3 of -
Perisic Richarlison Rodriguez
I firmly believe Richarlison would make a terrific centre forward and he just edges out DCL for me.

Richarlison is not a 9, DCL is. Richy is better with the ball in his feet, creating havoc. Also Richy is not a good finisher, or at least not as good as DCL. I think we would miss out on Richy's creativity on the wings or as a 2nd striker as well as on DCL's finishing and movement in the box.

Unfortunately everyone is cottonning on to him being decent so I reckon they would demand a monster fee. I think he's a great little player though.

Maybe Richy can play on the right if needed? Perisic can play on the right too although not his main position.

The idea is we can change things when needed. James in the middle. Richy/Perisic on left or right. Perisic is class.

€10m should be able to loan (or buyout) him for two years?

5mEuro was the loan fee Bayern paid last year I believe.

I was just trying to say that James is a lot better in the middle and having the 2 up top with Richarlison and DCL, they seemed to really get the best of each other last year when we played a 4-4-2. We now actually have a midfield so we could cut down one there to accomodate James in the middle up top.

I think maybe you haven't watched enough of us then. I agree that DCL is more of your conventional number 9 but Richarlison is usually a great finisher. Watch a compilation of his goals from last year and you'll see he's a slotter
