From what I saw of the reports it stated pretty clearly that Utd ended their interest after being quoted £80 million. So a non story (if true) being hyped up as usual.

If I’m DCL do I want to work with Ancelotti and James feeding me or go and work with OGS? No brainer to me. I’m not disputing Utd is a great club but they aren’t really on an upward trajectory.

....I’m sure the fact that he’d pocket £8m as his % of the fee, probably double his wages and join one of the biggest sporting franchises in the world will have nothing to do with it.

A real supporter who wasn’t being naive and exploited by his agent at the same time would have signed a new contract then looked at being sold.
