oh I know he was amazing. I just think he could have been so much better. It’s all down to opinion though, and I see your angle.

Oh no I agree with you mate. I've often said that we saw the best of him here at Everton because at the time he was absolutely fearless and used to terrorise opponents.

All I'm saying is that his career wasn't exactly ruined. He was still the best English player of a generation and there still hasn't been one better since.
