I think that's a good should for rudiger he has a point to prove one to Chelsea and two he wants to be playing at the euros next year so could be win win. Especially with a loan

It seems like for the 2nd summer on the bounce we’re patiently waiting for Chelsea to decide what they want to do with their CB’s. I’d rather we just shopped elsewhere then let Chelsea string us along again. We need a CB to come in ASAP and get upto speed with our system. I appreciate Chelsea have to many decent CB’s and it’s a good opportunity for us to get one of them on loan but I’d rather we just told them where to go

I'm not sure he's a huge improvement on Kenny in the short term, but he certainly has higher upside.
