Everton Transfer Thread - Summer 2020

I know it’s pointless and would ultimately not work, but I’d love to see Davies on a loaner or have a buy back.

just in case he doesn’t turn out to be jarg
He has had 4 years of fairly regular game time and has consistently and spectacularly failed to prove anything other than he is jarg
Nice lad ,atrocious dress sense but not up to the required standard

Plus, depending on how deluded he is, he may see the "big fish in a small pond" move as something that could give him an outside chance of getting to the Euros, whenever that may be...
Well as a big fish at Burnley he may have a better chance of getting a block booking of tickets for England matches at the Euros .
That is as near as he is getting to Southgate's squad

Important to remember that Davies has 3 years left and Delph 2 years. Were far better off getting rid of those players with 2+ years on their deals.

Next summer we'll lose alot as their contracts expire but weve got loads more expiring in 2022. Id be focusing on shifting all of them of course but if we could prioritise its best to punt the ones with longer contracts.

The players whose deals expire this year we could probably offer to pay up 50% of their wages and they'd go if they could get a long term deal elsewhere.

McCarthy was never fit but Palace signed him for 3mil. Bolasie and Besic would get into some championship teams who would pay us a fee to cover a % of their salary.

Id be disappointed if we dont shift 10 players.

Is not going to happen. For a start Bolasie and Sandro are both on approx 100k. Neither of those guys will get another contract close to 50k and their agents know it

we don't need pacy right winger lol

It’s subjective of course ,but I rate him as highly as Richarlison (when we signed him).
Like most modern forwards he can play across the line but seems to be primarily a right winger (right footed I think?).
Many of the top clubs have been sniffing around him including the RS who have had an offer of £35m knocked back allegedly.
I think he will leave , probably for one of the top clubs with a fee of around £30m plus add ons .
Anyone fancy going to the Watford forum and asking their opinion
Sarr could turn out to be as good as Ricarlison or as bad as Silva
Never know with Watford

Definitely need at least a CB and GK.

I think a winger will come in if we manage to shift some of the deadwood.

Coleman’s performances so far have perhaps pushed the need for a new right back down the list of priorities.
