Although I disagree, I certainly wouldn't be in favour of paying Loftus-Cheek the £150k a week that others have mentioned.

Obviously, it must be great to trouser that sort of money at a young age, but then they're knackered for playing time if they can't get a game at one of the few clubs that can afford to pay those wages.

The best thing is no one came in for any of our quality players and none of them spouted anything about wanting Champs League footy.

I don’t think many players would walk out on Carlo if he told them he’d sort out the team. Once they saw James walk in the doors I’m sure they knew we meant business.
