I think with Sarr, people will let Watford sweat a bit. I'm sure I saw there are only 6 games between now and the next window Ieague games). If Watford are not up there competing for promotion, it may well be clubs re-emerge in January and apply a bit of pressure, knowing next summer the value he holds will fall if they are not promoted.

they are clearing sitting on him til they understand if there is real interest from Man u. If there is, lash another 20m on

Upfront we have DCL and Richarlison which isn't ideal but we also have Simms who is doing himself no harm in training with the first team and performances in the U23.

Tosun isn't anywhere near fit and his future is still very much away from Everton.

If the worse comes to the worse then yeah it looks bad same for every club but we are top of the league, our in form striker is bossing it and we go into a Derby 100% confident so let's not dream up ways of taking a dump on us.

Why does Egan have to be better than JJK when they play completely different position?
I just listed all our defenders ,why did you not mention
Digne seeing as he is a LB.
Seeing as how he is right footed he could in theory play RB
I have seen every one of Egans International games and a few games for Sheffield united
He is a bog standard CB who would offer us nothing

I didn't think I had to mention Digne, Coleman, Nkounkou etc. as you were making a pointless point.

Think if anything happens we won't find out much till 16th as the whole club will feel quiet with the international break. No pressers, interviews etc.

Because they only wanted to pay £25m next year. Offer £35m and they may accept having made a profit. Think they paid £28m
Think this is the issue. They haven't paid much of that fee yet and a big chunk of it was due this summer.
They want him off the books now with a small profit. He must be on a decent wage which they don't want to pay in the EFL. They are going to lose out big time if they don't shift him.

Yeah I agree. Said pretty much the same myself a few weeks ago.

With our recent dealing with Watford, we will know how to approach them if we do indeed feel Sarr would offer us something.
Carlo has stated though, that if he wanted speed he would sign Usain Bolt, so I guess it would be down to if the manager rates him.

If we go with what we have I am delighted. If we add Sarr or someone else deemed worthwhile, that would be superb too.

I'm not sure there is a particularly significant demand, or after the Sancho antics United are willingly coughing up extra fees. I like Sarr, but I am aso quite happy with the squad at present and would probably see where we are come January.
