Just a work place though isn't it really? We've all got slackers in the office who still get their pay at the end of the month. That's life.

Lossl, Besic, Bolaise, Tosun could all go and we wouldn't miss them.

But yeah we started this window with 38 players, we have signed another 6, so to end the window with only a few surplus should be considered a plus for sure.

I know that. We are still feeling the effects of mistakes previous seasons.

But you need to play, especially the likes of Bolasie & Besic.

Paying 50m for a back up would be lovely, but sadly not realistic.

They may go and Everton pay 60 per cent of the wages of the remaining deal? Or just no one came in for them.

They can only play if there's teams/managers who see a definite role for them, and their clubs can afford whatever the salary or percentage thereof.

Yep totally.

But football isn't like normal employment. Once you reach a certain level of wealth, I'm not convinced any further rise is going to make much difference. But sorry for going all philosophical. I don't think I'll ever be in the position to know the difference between 30 or 40 grand a week lol
