Imagine that in 2 years time we will have removed 16 players from the squad.

Some of these players must be sold now or used in swap deals before their values diminish like Keane, Sigurdsson and possibly even Bernard.


Somewhere like Roma for example who have Bernards ex manager there + Smalling has done well for them.

There may be something we could do with them. Who knows.

i doubt we’ll consider that for players who fall into that category.

Why is anyone taking notice of jarg prices, sourced or not?
The window hasn't opened, and only when it does will we know the extent to which fees will be affected. The numbers in the air now are utterly pointless to argue over. They're pure fabrications.

I just get a bit tired of @Nymzee wumming.

He's just bored (?) and has chosen to argue about prices of players (which are all different per report anyway) and even if i spent some time finding the reports again he'd still find something to continue to argue about.

Its pointless to feed him.

Take Chelsea, giroud, Pedro and Willian. All out of contract. 1 or 2 of them could have already agreed deals, worth potentially 10/15mil, if you include a signing on fee.

Not a chance they will risk that by playing a few games for Chelsea in July.

I am confused by this.
I assume that a club could always offer a short term contract to a player and the player could accept or reject that offer.
I cannot see what is different here unless the suggestion is that if a club offers a short term contract to a player that he is obliged to sign... if that is the suggestion then I think the courts could be busy.
If, the season does run into July and we sign a player whose contract expired in June, can we play him ?
Maybe not vital to us, but if he helped us win a game against a team in the bottom three it could be important.

Look at which players are out of contact are they vital and will be selected gor the games to be played. I think not so it is good bye from me and god bye from him.
