Everton Transfer Thread - Summer 2020

We aren't signing Rabiot ffs you're like kids at Christmas.

So we have one group stating that he's such a problematic footballer that his value should be near zero. Then we have another that thinks he's so super duper that he's beyond Everton's reach.

I'm in the third group. The one that believes he is obtainable and would be of massive benefit to Everton.

I'm in the group whereby recognising we're not even back playing football yet so all transfer links are nonsense.

I don't understand why people flap at big ego's coming the club ... we have one of the finest man managers in history ( check his players who have won ballon d'or under him )

He commands respect and if not they will be shown the door - we have wasted enough on absolute garbage to not worry about gambling on what could be a very good success

I'm in the never heard of him group.
Probs not a group, just me.

I reckon he has mate, he has done it before so why not now? the only person defending him is his mum/agent and she is as trustworthy as the average kopite. People have complained about Kean and his attitude issues (i agree btw) but this guy is tenfold compared to him and hardly much of a player either.
....I have no evidence to dispute Rabiot’s character, but I was in Paris a few years ago and took in a PSG and he was outstanding that night. He was the one who stood out for me.
1 of those players that would the best in the world if they werent such an entitled bellend. See Paul Pogba for an example.
The counter might be, this is why you appoint a top level man manager.

Ancelotti is the one who gave him his start at PSG.

At PSG he was rated as a future world class player (much the same as Digne being labelled a wonderkid) and then some of his performances were match winning really.

At juventus he had a slow start but snippets i saw of him he was like a beast as he regained fitness.

I reckon under Ancelotti we have a chance of him becoming a top top player.
