Denis Bouanga

...quite like what I see of Bouanga.

Another right footed, left winger though. Would rather we had a left footer to replace Walcott on the right.

...yep, it suggests this might not be a goer.

Weird how things have changed. Left footers played on the left wing, right footers played on the right wing as it was mostly about getting behind the full backs and delivering crosses.

I think delivering crosses when we have two forwards who are as good as Richarlison and DCL in the air would be useful personally. Probably won’t go down well on here but I’d like to see some old school wing play with tons of crosses as I think it would suit our game.

Scored several overhead blammos, sign him up.

He began his career as a midfielder and winger, but under the guidance of Albinoleffe's youth coach Alessio Pala, he was converted to a forward. Compared to Gianluca Vialli for his athleticism and style of play, Belotti is a quick and prolific striker, who has a strong and powerful shot with either foot. He is strong in aerial duels, and stands out for his acceleration, tactical intelligence, positioning, work-rate, and eye for goal.Although he is primarily deployed as an out-and-out striker, he is also capable of playing as a second striker, due to his ability to hold up the ball and link-up with teammates, in addition to scoring goals himself. An acrobatic player, he has also scored several overhead kick goals in his career.

Not seen him live, and he does seem to have scored a few goals, but looking at footage of him he seems a bit less Gianluca Vialli and a bit more Cenk Beattie. £44m seems a lot to spend on a striker when there's countless other positions that need doing 1st. With Richarlison, Calvert Lewin and Keane, id say its probably the only position we are actually strong in.

....yep, good point. We do score goals from crosses into the box which is perhaps why Sidebe is being considered on a permanent deal.

Ha, that he was, not so sure now, but players like that never lose it

They maintain their ability before it drops off a cliff, almost overnight. I don't think there is this gradual reduction in ability. They seem to have it, and then its gone forever. But I think a player like Silva still has a couple of more years left him. I'd be happy if we signed him.
