Well due to the current climate and our squad needing improvements in other areas it wouldn't be the worst, He's not someone who would just slot into the first team every week but I'd be okay with him coming off the bench/rotating.

I think that this is what we need to get away from to be honest.
Not a bad player but certainly not a player that will improve us. He would be regarded as a squad player rather than a first team starter and we have already signed enough of those in recent years.
They are not even cheap because there will be a signing on fee, agents fees, bonuses and usually a contract over a four or five year period , you are probably talking about an investment in excess of 30m.
I think we have to set the bar higher or we will just continue as we are.

Fraser on last years form would be easily our best winger. I'm not sure he will ever be finding that form again.

I would agree but our other option is Walcott who gets injured on the regular and due to COVID a lot of teams aren't going to be splashing the £££, I don't think he'd be too pricey at all.

I do accept what you are saying and if we were signing him as a squad player to back up a certain first team starter then I would say fair enough.
But, if we are going to sign somebody to play on the right wing I would prefer somebody better and let Walcott act as back up.
