Ok that just says to me our whole midfield needs to be more productive. Iwobi had his best games from memory as a ten or off the left. I think Iwobi needs a run in a position personally to see, I think he's a pretty good player even if we probably over paid a bit(and I would have gone for someone like Sarr last summer personally).

wait are you actually advocating that iwobi should start ahead of bernard? on what basis?

because statistically (which is what people have been going off) iwobi has been worse than bernard this season and they have played pretty much the same amount of games

Bernard - 19 appearances, 3 goals, 2 assists, 3 big chances created, 45% shooting accuracy

Iwobi - 18 appearances, 1 goal, 0 assists, 2 big chances created, 43% shooting accuracy

as a season ticket holder i can categorically state that bernard is the more creative and exciting player to watch over the two

No I just think if one of the players that isn't Bernard played well it would illustrate more clearly how inadequate Bernard has been.

Iwobi has also played twice under Carlo, once on the left, and the entire team has seen a big boost in attacking performance since he took over. I think it is fair to say he might benefit too and maybe reevaluating once that happens is a good idea.

Because we are massively losing money and cannot just go out and buy without bringing something in, FFP is only paused its either stay sensible this year or risk a fire sale next year I think?

Would love it tbh because even if they are just names, if we got Thiago Silva, Him and Ancelotti it kinda opens the door to other big players and young players who want to come and learn from big name players.
