Was he? What “few”?
Nope. Started slowly in the Watford game then grew into it, looked big and strong and began to adapt to the pace of the game. Looked a bit off the pace in his first game but now we know that he wasn’t fit and was of course new to the speed of the league. People write an injured player off after a debut yet have seen 100+ games of Tom Davies and think he’s going to become some Everton great.

Some people act like injuries are new to them or something.

We need a right forward, dropping Walcott to the bench.

A central midfielder to compete with Gbamin over who partners Gomes.

Keep one of Delph and Schneiderlin. Keep Sigg as he can score goals coming off the bench.

A centre half to compete with Mina and Holgate. Keane as backup.

Choose 2 of the 3 right backs.

Choose the backup for Digne.

People are so determined to follow a narrative that they will just completely make things up, I'm concerned for some individuals on here.

I just don't know how you could have a strong opinion on Gbamin either way unless you've watched a lot of Mainz.

I watched him in the flesh very closely at Watford because the rest of the game was so terrifically boring and I walked away thinking “he’s strong and mobile but wants a bit too much time on the ball he’ll be good when he adapts” and was pretty happy we’d bought a decent replacement for Gueye.

Yes my opinion isn’t worth much but it’s worth a slam sight more than someone who’s writing him off because he got injured after a couple of appearances.

Can't keep those players with the wages they are on. Be better shifting Siggy and Schneiderlin than having them as options as they are two of our top paid players.

Wouldnt mind bringing on Talisca from the Chinese Super League :) Would be that true CAM we need. Im sure his contract is absurd though
