The amount of players we are unable to shift is staggering. We may have to sacrifice Richarlison or Digne to find some rebuilding.

Central Midfield is most glaring need. Davies and Sigurdsson simply cannot be our pairing. Gomez still an uncertainty after his injury. Two new starting XI quality players has to be our primary focus in the window.

Funny thing is we as Evertonians, because of of our history, expect us to be a successful team. Not every team in the league can be successful. Leeds, Villa etc. are all of the same mindset. Maybe we're just meant to now be a mid table club?

No more bandaids. Sign a box-to-box MF this summer and that's it. Accept that we're going to finish 15th next season and spend the rest of your time scouting young talent and trying to bin off 3/4 of our current first team. In the next window only buy players under the age of 23. Sell Richy and Digne if we can get good prices, cash in while you can. We might be risking relegation but at least we won't be stuck in this endless cycle of mediocrity.

Fire anyone on the football side that's been here longer than 3 years, we have to root out the career losers.

Its the approach that every other club/team in our position that has become successful has taken. We are not City, we do not have oil state money. Its what Wolves did. We still approach team building like its 1995. And its why we are a club of failures. Grow up.

It's going to take a lot of fixing I would just settle for one genuine leader in midfield who will put their foot in and fight this summer. Our midfield is a void currently. It's heartbreaking

And the mentality that because we were class into the 80's means we're entitled to be an amazing successful top club is what stops us as fans ever finding enjoyment in football. Which is the whole point about it.

if mid table is all this club with it’s illustrious history could manage and people are ok with this then perhaps a fall through the leagues is appropriate.

Change the club motto to only mid table is good enough

I don't think you understand where I'm coming from. I would love it if we were top and amazing and in the CL every year but I also don't understand why loads of our fans think we should be just because we were more than 30 years ago.
