I’m not sure he has the right attitude, but I can see FFP being relaxed this summer, so hopefully will make things easier

I don't think we can match the contract he's currently on at Juve, he is the second highest paid player at the club behind Ronaldo. The whole reason for him wanting to leave is because he has to take a wage cut, doubt he'll take one to join us.

Well I don't know how legal these wage cuts are, but if they are agreed, then we can make him an offer and it may be the best one he can get.

In italy the wages are always after tax.

To clear 7m English pounds a year, which is 8m Euros, he would need to be paid 14m, approx, based on his after-tax wage, thus meaning to match his wages we would need to pay him 270k a week.
