Gazziniga is absolute mince. There’s literally no point in bringing him in, we might as well keep Lossl.

Praying this is us using him as leverage against United for their price on Romero.

Romero will probably push hard for a move as well, especially one where he doesnt have to uproot himself.

He’s seen a move to Villa collapse because of United so he’s likely to be badly annoyed if it looks likely to happen again.

But surely Richarlison is the back up striker with one of Iwobi, Bernard or Gordon filling his slot. Tosun would be 3rd option. Where we need depth is behind James.

I think even Iwobi could play a false 9. How many years under Moyes did we only have like 1 striker with Cahill or Felli playing back up?
