Your point regarding Coleman is correct, totally bizarre decision. However your point about Barkley is completely wrong. Everton get 4 home grown players (those who have played for Everton for 3 years between 15-21) in the A list. If they don't fill the quota of 4 then the overall squad numbers decrease by the same number i.e. if Everton have 2 home grown instead of 4 the overall squad is reduced by 2. We only have Barkley and Rooney who fit into this criteria so you have to put both of them in because otherwise you are losing them and an overall squad place.

Either way, if Baines isn't going to give him a wide option, I think we'll both agree, putting him in the middle is best.

Oh yeah - that's where he needs to be. I think he will struggle to occupy that space with Rooney on the pitch though. I want to see Sigurdsson controlling - although to be honest I don't know if that's really his game or what he did with Swansea?
