Regardless, if someone isn't leading the line and sitting on the back shoulder of the backs, Rooney's wandering isn't going to help as he's not going to have any space to do it or anyone to push it to in front of him. I'm guessing Sandro will be in more of a poacher type role. Not sure that's perfect for him, but we shall see.

Neither of those two need to be registered as they are under 21, but they are probably forced to be as I'm not sure who the heck else would fit the bill.

which tbf i'm sort of okay about it. If rooney and siggurdsson are going to be in the same team, rooney has to be up front. The reason it's not working is because they've both been occupying the exact same space, whereas with rooney up front instead of DCL he may feel more need to hold his position. I just hope he doesn't drop deep to try and get involved, stay up the pitch and be the focal point.

Would have probably rested him a bit for this game myself.

I'm thinking they'll try and push Sandro up top instead of Rooney, but I'd push both up as high on the pitch as possible.
