Two things - 1) They're knackered, 2) They aren't that good

I was delighted with that performance
Ancelotti will now be in no doubt about how useless they are, and the urgent need for new signings
Much rather that than some of them raising their half-arsed game and duping him they are any good

Definite signs of tiredness I thought but we were still terrible in possession.

Probably no bad thing we're finished early today and boxing day doesn't fall until thursday this year rather than Monday or Tuesday.

We need to rest up, get some bodies back, and get some Carlo time on the training ground.

What about all the injuries and sickness in the camp ? We got much more from them games than anyone thought ,reel your neck in.
