I haven’t seen us play much better this year no passion at all and tbf to Sam I don’t think he got any of his players he got lumped with Walcott and toss

That performance was not two players away from being acceptable let alone a top team.

Although I was clumsy with my comment - the side today was more than 2 good players from being a top side. If Doucoure and Rodriguez were playing it would be 2 players short I should have said.

The squad - around 6 players short I'd say.

Weirdly, I fancy us away now in most games. The intensity seems a little higher, a bit more desire to win when we are away. Wouldn’t complain if we miss out, ultimately you finish where you deserve to finish.

I'm not sure it's intensity as such. We tried to be intense today - we just can't match it (and that is on the players we have been so one-paces and sluggish (Brands)).

But yeah, I probably do fancy us away from home, but it's still crap. We can only win games based on knicking a 1-0, let's face it.

There's nothing to build on in terms of a playing style moving forward, which is why I'm not convinced 'better players' is going to fix things.

Well just what has iwobi done in a Everton shirt this season nothing that's what. As for Fabian delph he has stolen a living from Everton the last few seasons and nothing to show for it a waste. I rather see young Anthony Gordan get a run before them wasters.

I wouldn’t have Iwobi, Gomes, Siggy, Holgate, Coleman, and based on his recent performances, Richy, from this lot. Just to add some perspective.

Iwobi was a big one for me tonight. You can check the vaults, I've never been an Iwobi hater but tonight he really did nothing. I rate Siggy but tonight he was a ghost. Gomes was sloppy. I think ideally we need another Rodriguez for the half a season he is normally injured, a top center half and a new starting right back before we can even think about getting top 6. Top 4 is about 5/6 first team players away. We're 100% a midtable team with some individual great players who wind up missing half the season anyway.

The football is absolutely atrocious isn't it. Thought we played some decent stuff against Spurs but apart from that we've been awful to watch, as bad as I can remember for a very long time.

This squad are no where near ready for a European cup run we be out early doors. This squad needs a lot of replacing and about 200 million spent on it just to compete for top4 next season. At least 6 or more need to be showed the door out of finch farm.
