Not a good look that Patterson hasn’t had any game time with us so far…sums up our mad decision making in buying Benitez two players before sacking him.

Getting the head around the fact he's about 12 years old and played a handful of games in the Scottish Sunday League should mean he'll be slowly brought in.

Benitez would’ve started Rondon and Coleman.

Lets be honest the squad is piss poor anyway - Rondon and Coleman are no worse than Holgate or Kenny on their day.

Just find it funny how its pretty a subdued reaction on here to the team news when the last few months its been a meltdoon soon as the formation is released never mind the team selection itself!

When you look at that line up it makes you realise why we are relegation candidates.

Gomes should never be starting a PL game, he’s too slow.
Holgate is brain dead and an absolute liability.
Kenny is just ok but can’t see him getting in many other PL teams.

That’s a third out there outfield you have immediate worries about.

I like the starting 11 but would have liked to see the 3 signings on the bench atleast. Atleast Mykolenko and Patterson.

Keane or Holgate? Lesser of two evils. Kenny deserves his chance. Team looks okay to me, gomes my only real worry. A fit Delph in there would have been better.....

I think this is one of the greatest myths going at the moment. We're no better with three than we are with two because none of them are very good.
