Mid is a bit weak. No legs to chase nifty players in that Villa mid. Gomes is always better of the bench I find. Not a starter but guessing Allan is 100 or probably would've started. Nervous excitement. Would be nice to score first. Can't remember the last time that happened

I like the starting 11 but would have liked to see the 3 signings on the bench atleast. Atleast Mykolenko and Patterson.

El Ghazi is ineligible as a Villa loan player

Not sure it is . Formation does not look great does it? And if Allan can make the bench he should be starting.

Dunc did say earlier in the week Allan was struggling, may be he is not 100% still.

I think this is one of the greatest myths going at the moment. We're no better with three than we are with two because none of them are very good.

Another body makes less space does it not .
Allan starting there instead of townsed offers better protection surely

I don't think Holgate's ability is the real problem , it's the fact he thinks he's a lot better than he is .
If Dunc can get him playing a simple game and keep his concentration up , he might do okay
