I'm going for an Everton win. I predicted we'd win 9 of 9..... 3 out of 4 so far, I can't let another slip

Get Bily on, he always scores against the Midlands teams. Fact

Wonderful write up too x

2-1 us, Cahill, Beckford.

Wonder if Mucha will be making an appearance (doubt it). Tim Howard will be coming off of two games for the US National team.

Mucha should have the same work load over the break. Slovakia v Andorra on 26/03 and v Denmark on 29/03.

Osman has been playing well lately, particularly when he moves into the middle, so start him there instead of Neville, Gueye on the left, Billy playing behind Beckford (highly unlikely). On the other hand he could stay as is with Vic or Cahill up with Beckford (extremely likely).

That's right! Forgot he's a Slovakian international. Which means Tim still starts.

I feel good about this match. Boys have come in and played well considering all the injuries. A fit group would be nice but I'll take the "grind it out" mentality of late.

VILLA are running scared. I can only see an Everton win.

Here's some quotes from villa fans:

"According to sources close to the squad, there is resentment at the changes coming so late in the season, when they need to stand united to fight relegation, and at being ‘treated like schoolkids’. "

"I'd snap your hand off for a point here. Having watched Everton they are everything we hate, good in the air and powerful. Our 1-0 victory earlierin the season was one of the biggest footballing muggings I've seen."

"Everton will win by at least 2, we are crap."

"REALLY dreading this match, Everton will fight like crazy until the very end... "

"Sadly I can't see anything other than a loss. Something like 3-1 to Everton. Then a confused Houllier trying to lord it in front of the Gwladys Street Stand, being told to **** off, and the penny dropping that he is indeed back in Liverpool but at Goodison not Anfield".

"We'll be lucky to get a point here. Whenever we play Everton we always seem to be second best yet luckily scrape a result - the win earlier on in
the season and ash's infamous last minute goal in the win two seasons ago comes to mind. In both those games Everton bossed us around the park. The 2-2 draw against United is proof of how we can play but that has happened once in a blue moon this season. I'd take a draw definitely"

I say this all the time. It's nice to see Villa fans actually taking note of it!

But like I said, I like Villa fans. At least the ones I know. I hope they stay up.

Made me smile Chico!
Villa are in meltdown think they´ll fight but that seems to suit us when teams come and attack,Having read the news of injurys ,Saha, Rodwell, Coleman, Baxter the latest victims to the annual injury crisis, don´t know who were going to put on the field time for the kids to run out?The young greek bean pole? and the fleat footed french winger? But knowing Moyes Anichebe will start.Still think we´ll beat them though.

Thank Christ Carew isn't there anymore, he always seems to score against us in a Villa shirt! Will be a tough one but it is time we started believing in ourselves and being more clinical at home. We are topping the form table and we need to make the confidence and home advantage count. Bar the ref turning up in a Villa shirt or ''Ged'' getting the sack I'd like to think we can duke it out with them and sneak a win.

Ah well time to enjoy a weekend off from Everton...which generally means spending my saturday afternoon having a barclays bank.... :toilet:

COYB!

Hope Villa dominate and we win it undeservedly late on.

Tables need turning.

Although I would reluctantly accept a 5-0 thrashing.

For those that are curious - Tim Howard was absolutely in form tonight vs. Argentina. He was a BEAST, to the point Ian Darke said: "He's in a 'They Shall Not Pass'" mood. He had 5+ great saves, including multiple saves on Messi. If he retains his form against Villa they will not score.

Commentators praised his play at Everton tremendously.

Good stuff.
