1st half thoughts

Billy has been in good space, but he can't seem to do anything right
Arteta has not been very good
MoFro looks very capable
Saha seems to be in the mood, Distin is playing well

Not a lot wrong. Bily isn't doing that bad, though not great either. Keep him on and if we hit the hour mark without a breakthrough send Coleman on.

Everton is bossing the game, but we are playing with TO MUCH possesion ! More direct play as we did couple of season back. Easy for Bolton to defend. Billy has been awful ! Artea isn't on his usual level. Frog and Saha is on fire though....

Many would yet again be criticizing Bilyaletdinov but I think his game is improving. One or two misplaced passes and hesitant to take on his right foot but he is deliberately trying to keep the ball for a few more seconds to try and make something happen which is a positive sign

Saha looks set to score.

Dominated the first half, but couldn't make the breakthrough.

This is becoming a worrying trend :/



Saha's been decent, but Bily's been utterly woeful. Poor first touch, poor instincts and poor passing. I can't help but feel this inclusion was a case of Moyes running out of ideas; "Go on Bily, you're on, show us what you're made of", kind of thing. And it's not been good.

Bily off for Coleman would be good imo. Bring the Yak on for Saha in a bit, if we still can't get a goal, too.




As a positive though, Felli has been ace.
