While we might win tonight, and we might even perform a miracle and also beat Palace, we all know that there is no chance whatsoever of us beating a genuinely quality team in this competition, so is it better to just go out tonight and concentrate on the relegation battle, or will our players' extremely fragile mentalities take a hammering from this and the result see us plummet to bottom of the table within a few games?

Lampard has got to stop the players passing backwards by default. So many times tonight we've been breaking only for the ball to inexplicably be passed 20 yards back to Branthwaite or Keane and all momentum is lost.
