Goes without saying, but that was a 6 pointer and a game we needed to win. Nice to finally have a relatively routine home win, and a good performance. This is just a start and we need to really build on this now.

Our aim this season has to be finishing around where we are currently, and no worse than 16th. I see us in the bottom quarter mini league of 5 teams (hopefully someone else falls back and makes it 6 or 7 teams) - we need to be better than those other 4 teams.
I think we'll be better than that, we've been the best team in 4 games probably should have gotten a draw last week. We are better than our points total.

Hopefully, but still think we are right in the mix and will be for a long time

If you offered me 16th I'd take it. This year is about improving on last year, even if it is just a single place.

To be fair, Doucoure had a little better passing, but terrible decision-making during attacks. That garner chance across the box is something a second striker should take. And was pleasantly surprised by Mykolenko's improvement in passing and development as an inverted fullback.
Got to be honest Doucoure although not good on the eye has important attributes. Brentford he makes a run that occupies defenders and Garner slots it through for DCL. Today Garner scores because DCL and Doucoure make the all important runs to have the defenders in two minds. We need more of it

Shape considerably better with 4 in the midfield - significantly less play in transition goes through our limited fullbacks. Garner and Onana must start central when available. Nice to have so many players looking to play on the turn and be progressive. Good performance and good result. Hope Dyche can recognise what he stumbled onto here and build on it.

We3 ere hoping this when we beat Villa. Then Luton came.

Of course we won, we had least possession... and this is my issue, if we are to be a team that challenges in the top 10 or for Europe you can`t simply let others always dictate the game, especially not relegation fodder..... Our manager has never been a possession based manager so the chances he can ever get us up that far is very very low if impossible.

Out of 25 shots only 3 goals !

When squad is "Dyche fit" round pegs go in round holes.

Garner Man of the match.

Onana or Guaye, Onana for me as he is better at releasing the ball, reckon we end up with beating Bournemouth with either as the traditional number 6.

unbelievable result!...surpassed my most optimistic expectations. I expected a narrow loss and would have been happy with a -1 GD. So, in effect, this result represents a huuuuge positive swing in GD. When we come to the end of the season, and relegation spots are decided by GD, this result might well keep us in the PL.
