Whenever we score or take a lead it’s like we just switch from 100% effort to 65% effort, we start inviting the opposition on us and we make more mistakes. These players need to have that 100% mentality for the entire game like when Newcastle destroyed Sheffield United

Have to say I was very happy for our match-going supporters who finally got to see a convincing winning performance at home. It's always good when Everton win no matter how or where you see the game, but being at Goodison and feeling the positive energy, excitement, and atmosphere generated by games like today really is something special, and something I miss.

Jarrad Branthwaite is like a reliable and fully fit version of Yerry Mina. I see lots of similarities between the two players. Rolls Royce of a centre half is our Jaz.

He's way better than Mina.
Mina could play but, was unreliable fitness wise and something of a poser.
Branthwaite doesn't allow himself to get drawn into stupid and needless faux confrontations - just concentrates on his own game and what's best for the team.
