Think back to a time when the FA Cup was a massive trophy and transfers were done whenever.

It was to stop clubs still in the Cup late on buying players to strengthen the team and improving their chance to win it.

I think this is a very important match, not because winning the cup is most important, but because a win is badly needed just to improve morale and sort things in the right direction. The team needs a win or two, lucky or not, just to fix the mood around the team

Until the rot set in circa 1997 we had played more F.A. Cup semi finals than both United and Arsenal, the top two now.
