I don’t want to knock Brighton as it’ll be a tough game but we should have enough to win without Allan and Richarlison. If Richie is fit then great but if there is any doubt it’s not worth the risk especially with that lot coming up.

I’d go:

Pickford

Coleman, Keane, Mina, Digne

Doucoure, Delph, Gomes

Rodriguez, DCL, Iwobi

In fitness you could change Iwobi for Gordon or maybe even Bernard but actually I think Bernard has been better in the middle three. I’ve only put Iwobi there as Gordon was sick midweek.

Echo saying Allan and JJK out, Richy should hopefully be fit. Although it’s the Echo so who knows.
Rich seemed pretty normal walking after game, Allan had pretty much same injury 2 years ago and was out 2 weeks [someone put that report on forum somewhere] and would be surprised if he was somehow ok, but hopefully it is only a few weeks out if he is out, while Kenny would not be playing anyway but lets hope hes not to bad

Brighton played Man Utd off the park last week but got no breaks.

I was particularly impressed by Zanate, I think he is called, who plays in midfield.

Richy needs to play and it should be three points but this team is miles better than WBA.

Did you see what happened in the cup game?
Apart from the normal type of things that happen in football games no mate, i didn't realise injuries could tell a difference between League and Cup games, has someone patented that, could be a good strategy knowing which games your players will get an injury.

We have to be confident going in to this one.

We've won 6 in a row, scoring 20, and we are at Goodison Park.

If Allan and Richarlison are out I would play the following:

Pickford
Coleman Mina Keane Digne
Doucoure Delph Gomes
James DCL Iwobi

Virginia, Nkounkou, Sigurdsson, Davies, Bernard, Gordon, Walcott
Richarlison back in. Yes lad!

Pickford
Coleman Mina Keane Digne
Doucoure Delph Gomes
James DCL Richarlison

Viriginia, Nkounkou, Sigurdsson, Davies, Bernard, Iwobi, Walcott

The big decision tomorrow looks to be the Allen replacement

Sigurdsson, Davies, Delph, Bernard or Iwobi all potential options depending what system we want.

I'd say it's realistically between Delph and Gylfi, and will depend on Delph's fitness after playing 90.

3 injuries requiring substitutions. Thats the high side of normal, no?
Jjk aside, the other 2 are key players who are instrumental in are excellent form. Do you not reckon less rest= more chance of injuries?

Only 6 games into the season, no mate, no I do not. We don't have European footy, we aren't stretched that thin, injuries happen at any time in any game to any player, should we just roll them out for games against the top 6. They're top end football players, if they're fit they start, simple, IF you want to start winning things.

Kimmich is one of the best right backs in the world and just coming into his prime.

Stay at Brighton and get games lad.

Also we always look at the positives when assessing other teams players. This lad is continually caught upfield out of position. Imagine the space Richy and Digne will find.

Ah that's a system error though - attacking wing-backs always 'get caught upfield'. Laptey is class, would love him at Everton!
