It should be a Double for Everton for me, Lewin and Carlo winning both awards when Manger of the month is done

The big decision tomorrow looks to be the Allen replacement

Sigurdsson, Davies, Delph, Bernard or Iwobi all potential options depending what system we want.

I'd say it's realistically between Delph and Gylfi, and will depend on Delph's fitness after playing 90.
When Holgate is fit and Godfrey signs I think they will both be great backup for the DM role should they be required.

So far Brighton have lost 1-3 to Chelsea but arguably could’ve got a point, whooped Newcastle 4-0 and lost 2-3 to Man United with a last minute pen. I think this is going to be tricky and a potential banana skin. I do think we will have enough like because we’re bossssss. Coyb.

Though we are the form team pretty easy, we have to remember that Brighton have actually gone 8 away prem league games without losing since Jan away at Bournemouth [9 in total]. we beat them the week before that but i am still going 3-1 for us and to win our 1st 4 league games for 1st time since 69

Ah that's a system error though - attacking wing-backs always 'get caught upfield'. Laptey is class, would love him at Everton!
I think a system that played him as a wing back would be ideal. Like Wolves. As a right back you need a boss holding midfielder to cover for him. I honestly don't know whether Brighton have that but Rashford was in acres of space a few times last week. If Richy plays I expect him to have a field day, especially with the ability of James to switch play at the drop of a hat.

I would say Lamptey is probably a few months ahead of Nkounkou in his development. He may well become a worldie, but Wright-Philips was very similar at the same age and never developed as hoped.

Don't get me wrong, if we bought him I'd be as excited as I am about Nkounkou. But I have a feeling that Godfrey ma end up being our back up at right back this season and may even excel there. Love the lads pace.

Interesting shout. So far Ben God has been touted as CDM, RB and CB (bit like Mason, I guess). I reckon he'd be a CB for us. With James drifting in from wide left to the ten, need a RB who can overlap and create the space and angles. Not sure Ben God has got that in him, but a useful addition to the squad nonetheless

Maybe not. He looks good on the ball though. Composed and good passer. He like to play with the game in front of him, if that makes sense, which helps. And as I say he is quick ad has good recovery skills. With full backs these days a lot depends on his final delivery. It's probably too much to ask that he's another Digne in that regard.

We may bring in another right back. It's something I've been asking for from the start of the window. But Seamus seems to have a new lease of life and I don't think we have the money tbh. So this lad seems to have the assets to cover there for a season, and you never know he may just surprise us.

At the start of the season I said we needed a left footed RW, CDM and box to box CM, LB and RB cover/competition, CB and GK.

RB, CB and GK all that is left (god I love Carlo, what a man).

Agreed on new RB, brought into focus more now given JJK's injury. That being said Holdgate played there under Bilic at WBA so I think we've got the cover for the moment and perhaps Godfrey sorts the CB out.

GK and RB left! Would have loved us to go for that Martinez from Arsenal, think he's dead good me

Lamptey is vertically challenged for a full back, he can only be a winger. He might be on the bench.

They also got battered by Utd in the carabao cup

sometimes putting in a good performance against Chelsea and Utd and losing both games may cause mental fragility

we are expected to beat them at home but every team in this league is dangerous. Look at West Brom game where we conceded first.
