I worry about Sigurdsson from the start. Off the bench where his fresh legs mask his sluggishness suits him. However if he handles it well he could quite easily keep his place. Richarlison passing fit would be huge.

Some will disagree but I would play Davies - Delph and Siggurdsson together are too slow and we'll need some energy/movement around the midfield.

That's quite literally why Doucoure is in the squad and thus far he's handled it very well. Sigurdsson also deserves the chance right now imo.

Doucoure isnt an Allan who can sit deep and cover well whilst bombing forward knowing his midfield can cover him adequately enough imo.
I'll be honest I struggle to see a win here with that midfield unless Richarlison plays and we are ruthless up top.
Allan and Gomes out so a shake up for the midfield, both have been in fine form but siggy should be able to play the role Gomes has been playing without too much disturbance. Delph is the obvious replacement for Allan, after a big shift on Weds for an injury hit player that swap is more of a worry but we will have to test the depth of the squad at some stage and if Allan is fit for the derby that is the main thing for me.
