Delph said the other day he was only supposed to play 60 minutes but had to stay on cos of the injuries so only thing I can assume is Delph isn’t ready to play two games in succession.

Not sure I understand Davies over Delph. Didn’t watch midweek but people have said he was decent. Surely it made sense to have him in for Allan, Doucoure box to box and Gylfi further forward. Unless Delph is unfit.

I'm actually excited to see what Davies can do as a box to box player. He's never really been given a chance to do it and I think it is what his skills align with the best. It is still tough to see him being anything but a bench player but who knows.
